Veterinary Surgeons

Natalie Devleeschouwer
Natalie joined The Shrubbery in 2011, She became Clinical Director and part owner of the practice in 2015. As well as running the practice Natalie take part in consults and surgeries every day. Natalie particular interest is internal medicine, including geriatric care indeed Natalie’s previous dog Sherka had a number of issues related to her age and so Natalie has a particular interest in managing pets with chronic pain and carries out acupuncture treatments on animals in practice. She also carries out audits to maintain our high standards of care.

Nuno Gomes

Oscar Gordon-Reid
Oscar qualified in 2023 and joined the shrubbery in 2024. Oscar has a keen interest in general surgury and hopes to start working towards certifications in orthopedics.
Oscar has two dogs called Fudge and Hugo. Outside of work Oscar enjoys playing tennis and performing on stage either with his choir or theatrical group.
Veterinary Nurses

Katie Duckett
Katie joined the team in 2003 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2010. Her main interest at work is radiography.

Caitlin Harris
Caitlin Graduated as a Veterinary Nurse from the College of Animal Welfare in August 2016, after carrying out her nursing training at The Shrubbery Veterinary Centre. Caitlin likes nurse clinics particularly weight clinic. she also enjoys radiography. In the picture you can see her two lovely boy cats Rocky and Mr Tibbs.

Nicola Lewis
Nicola completed work experience at the practice in 2005, and joined the team as a student nurse in 2006. She qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2011 after completing her studies alongside working with the patients.
In her spare time, Nicola’s hobbies include dog walking and keeping fit.

Emilie Gilbert
Hi, Im Emilie! I qualified in 2025 as a registered veterinary nurse shortly after joining the shrubbery team. In addition to nursing I also have a Bsc in animal behaviour and welfare.

Andy Bridges
Andy joined the team in 2004, and as Practice Manager it is his responsibility to oversee the smooth running of the practice on a day-to-day basis. He deals with all accounts and financial matters as well as Health & Safety and Employment Law matters.
Andy’s favourite part of the job is working with a friendly and dedicated team of people, and he also enjoys the fact that no two days are the same – each day brings new challenges!

Reece Brash
Reece has been part of the team since 2013 and provides general administration and IT support to the practice. His favourite part of the job is working with his colleagues, who he describes as “an excellent team”.
